She holds a Master and a PhD in Health Sciences from the State University of Montes Claros and is a Professor at the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of the North of Minas (IFNMG), in Brazil. She is a content producer on the YouTube channel Doutora Drag [Doctor Drag] and on the Podcast Hora Queer [Queer Time] in which she addresses political issues such as gender, sexuality, race and class in an anti-fascist and anti-capitalist perspective.
In 2016 she launched the Podcast HQ da Vida [Life in Comics], later renamed to Hora Queer, still as Danilo. The podcast’s proposal is the production of content by LGBTs with an anti-capitalist, feminist, intersectional, anti-racist and Marxist approach.
Two years after the launch of the Podcast, Danilo created Dimitra Vulcana, Doutora Drag, a bearded Drag Queen who challenges the limits of gender barriers. Today Dimitra releases new content weekly on YouTube and daily on social networks where she continues to conquer space performing political analysis.
